MONICA JOHNSON | OUTREACH LEAD, BLAK GIRLS VOTE
A marketing specialist by trade and a community leader in practice, Monica is a champion for civic engagement and empowering communities through both her professional and purpose-driven work. A strong advocate for service and leadership, she currently serves as the Outreach Lead for Black Girls Vote, a national nonpartisan nonprofit committed to engaging, educating, and empowering Black women to leverage their voting power and transform the electoral process. In this role, she leads efforts focused on community engagement, voter education, and increasing civic participation.
Her commitment to community impact is further reflected in her role as Co-Chair of the 8th Annual Black Girls Vote Ball (2025) and her recognition as a 2026 Women Leading Baltimore honoree.
In addition to her community work, Monica serves on the Board of Directors for Positivity in Baltimore and has mentored young girls in Baltimore City through Sisters Circle since 2019. She is also an entrepreneur and the owner of Giants Vending Solutions, a vending machine business she operates with a focus on growth and accessibility.
A proud two-time HBCU graduate, Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts from Alabama State University and her Master of Business Administration from Morgan State University. She brings together her expertise in marketing, passion for people, and commitment to service to create meaningful impact both professionally and within her community.
