KIMBERLY CORBIN | CEO, GREATER WASHINGTON URBAN LEAGUE
Kimberly L. Corbin serves as Chief Administrative & Financial Officer for the Greater Washington Urban League. Her lifelong passion for equity and empowerment led her to this historic civil rights organization in 2014. Leveraging her extensive leadership experience, she strengthened the organization's financial position, enhanced its brand identity, and elevated human-centered programming. The League has since seen ten-fold growth with grant funds managed, increasing from $20 million to $200 million.
Ms. Corbin was named a Nonprofit HR 2024 Social Impact Woman to Watch. Her nonprofit career began in 2011 upon her appointment as the President & CEO of the National Black MBA Association. She brings to the nonprofit sector 20 years of leveraged finance experience supporting private equity-led buyouts at prominent firms such as GE Capital, Fieldstone Private Capital, Bankers Trust, and American Capital.
Ms. Corbin holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a BS in Business Administration from Florida A&M University. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Aset Nia and Imani Isis.
